Well, its here! 500 lbs of grass-fed organic meat (at $2.79 a lb) were stuffed into my parents Ford Explorer and then driven to my home where mom, Paige, and I divided it up between us. My freezer, is FULL, FULL, FULL of Rib Eyes, T-Bones, Sirloin Steaks, and every ever other cut of beef known to man. You're getting a whole lot less of our money this year, Jewel/Osco, Walmart, Wiseway! It's time to take back some control of our health and budget.

When can I come over for dinner?
Yes, me too!
Well actually, how about Sunday (I realize that would be quite a road a trip for your family, Father James, but you are more than welcome to join us :))? We plan on celebrating the Feast of the Dormition as well as some August Birthday's with vast amounts of grass-fed meat. Can you make it, Swede?
I'll take a rain check, but thanks. Enjoy your grass-fed meat!
That's awesome! We're thinking of filling our back 5 acres with cows this year for the same reason. A few of our chickens may go missing too.... :)
Wow, Sylvia!
That would be fabulous. It is fabulous already that you have five acres...and chickens!! I admire you for taking care of so many people, animals, and things (and then there's your incredible craftiness...!!). The kids want a puppy - I am stalling.
