And the ball goes up, and the ball comes down, and she swings her bat all the way around...

It's becoming more and more challenging to find summertime activities that all of my kids can enjoy. There's the park, the pool, and the library, each of which we have done and re-done Ad nauseam. So today, I uncharacteristically broke out the whiffle ball bat and started pitching. Troy, my love, you would have been so proud of me!

Teaching your children to love baseball...the second most noble cause there is (after following Jesus)!! Nice work!

Oh, Father James, our kids love baseball alright - although their passion for the game does tend to flare up at bedtime when Troy is watching the White Sox and they simply HAVE to stay up to see who wins. H-m-m, how convenient.

Oh such a great photo. I can hardly wait to get an iphone so I can snap photos all the time. It seems so handy to have that thing in my pocket. Anyway--that must have taken some incredible skill to pitch and photograph in an instant like that.
