In her own words...

We are now on day five of Mary's crazy old flu/cold/high fever inducing ailment and she is still pretty wiped out but at least more alert and very talkative. I thought that for this "Snapshot," I'd let Mary, herself, explain a little of what she has been through this past week. Thank you, friends, for your prayers and "middle of the night" listening ears (eyes?). It truly did help to calm my spirit.

Sweet girl! What is she like when she's not sick?

Our oldest little boy, Asher, is very docile and cuddly when he's not feeling well. Of course, we prefer him not to be sick, but you know... cuddly is nice from a 3 -year-old monkey-boy!

Hope you're all doing better soon!

How incredibly precious! I suppose she has a few days of not saying all her words now. She has some serious catching up to do! So cute. :) Glad to see she's feeling better.

My son, Ben, like your Asher would most certainly fit the "Monkey Boy" description and he, too, becomes all warm and quiet (gasp!) and cuddly when he doesn't feel good. Mary acts the same if she's sick or not sick, except when her fever gets high than there is alot of screaming demands about juice and Little Mermaid and back rubs.
